NEW POLICE CONTACT NUMBER

From the 19th September, Members of the public should now ring 101 to contact Dorset police for non urgent enquires.

The public should use the new number, 101, to report a crime, to contact their Safer Neighbourhood Team, to provide information about crimes that have been committed or to make a general enquiry.

As ever, people should always dial 999 in an emergency - when life is in danger or a crime is in progress!

Calls to the new number, from landlines or mobiles, cost 15p, no matter the time of day or length of the call.
