Melbury Osmond Parish Council meets bi-monthly, usually on the second Monday of the month formerly in the Reading Room but now in the Village Hall at 7.30pm. The meeting dates and times will be published on this website and on The Reading Room notice board.

Meetings are open to all with the opportunity for residents to raise issues and questions to the parish council during the 'open meeting'. 

From time to time there are vacancies so if  you are interested in becoming a parish councillor please contact one of the councillors ort the Chair - details here

The Parish Council is paid for by the precept which forms part of the council tax.

The council oversees the maintenance of the village playground and supports the Village Hall.
